Your family will love this “Macaroni Bean Salad”!

Macaroni Bean Salad

Serves 4 | Serving Size: 1 cup
Total Time: 25 min | Prep: 5 min | Cook: 20 min
A fun and tasty salad that uses 2 beans and a zesty dressing to go along with everyone’s favorite shaped pasta.

Ingredients:

1 cup dry macaroni
1 cup frozen green beans
1 cup cooked kidney beans
1 ripe tomato, diced
1/4 cup minced red onion
4 tablespoons fat-free mayonnaise
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1 teaspoon Italian herb seasoning
1/4 teaspoon black pepper to taste

Directions:
Cook macaroni according to package directions, add green beans; drain in colander.Meanwhile, mix the rest of the ingredients together in a large mixing bowl. Add the cooked macaroni and green beans to the bowl and mix well.

Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Serves 4. Each 1 cup serving: 174 calories, 3 g fat, 1 g saturated fat, 0 g trans fat, 3 mg cholesterol, 127 mg sodium, 30 g carbohydrate, 6 g fiber, 4 g sugars, 7 g protein.
